We are hiring a caring and reliable Support Worker to assist with daily living activities. If you are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist client with personal hygiene, grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Support client with mobility, transfers, and exercise
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Launder clothing and household linens - keeping a clean environment
Qualifications:
- College or other non-university or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
- Experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
- Experience in long-term care, home care, or community support settings
- Empathetic, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
